Michelle, a certified Senior HR Professional (SPHR) with more than two decades of experience in the federal government contracting industry, serves as our company's strategic Human Resources leader. She has worked for both Fortune 100 and 500 companies and is a respected HR leader who is proficient at building strong, effective teams. Michelle is skilled in change management, integrations and organizational transformations.

Michelle is leading Witt O’Brien’s continued growth strategy by utilizing her vast experience and knowledge of best practices while working with large, geographically dispersed organizations. She also offers extensive experience with acquisitions and divestitures. With each deal, Michelle has excelled at ensuring effective transitions with minimal operational disruption.

Prior to joining Witt O’Brien’s, Michelle supported a threefold increase in both revenue and headcount for a global federal government contractor. While there, she championed culture change efforts, retention initiatives and talent development actions that reduced voluntary attrition. In addition, Michelle created an executive incentive compensation plan to drive fiscal year-end new business growth; for her legacy organization, she collaborated with external consultants to create and implement an entire compensation structure which led to more efficient and consistent pricing strategies.

Michelle holds a Six Sigma Green Belt and is a certified facilitator for the Myers Briggs Type Indicator. Michelle earned a Master’s in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University with a concentration in Human Resources, as well as a Bachelor of Arts from Smith College.
