Witt O’Brien’s Launches Groundbreaking Women’s Resilience Forum
WASHINGTON, Oct. 22, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Witt O’Brien’s, LLC (Witt O’Brien’s), a subsidiary of SEACOR Holdings Inc. (NYSE: CKH) (SEACOR), held its inaugural two-day Women’s Resilience Forum earlier this month.
Participants enjoyed thought-provoking presentations, discussed common challenges and potential solutions in corporate resilience programs, and participated in a tabletop exercise that explored various emergency, crisis, and business continuity issues. Registration for the forum comes at no cost to attendees and this year included representatives from many large, distinguished organizations.
Cynthia Widick, Former Chief Cybersecurity Operations at National Security Agency, delivered the keynote address wherein she outlined tactics to help lessen a firm’s cybersecurity vulnerability, including monitoring the media for publicized cyberattacks, developing a robust crisis management and response plan, and creating an information asset inventory.
