Witt O'Brien's carried out a large-scale Annual Incident Management Team Tabletop Exercise (IMT TTX) on March 07, 2024, in Houston, TX.
This challenging exercise tested the interaction, communication, and problem-solving between the Incident Commander, Federal and State On-Scene Coordinators, and Incident Management Team (IMT) members, including the USCG, Texas State Agencies, OSROs, SMFFs, the vessel operator’s representative, and other stakeholders in the critical stages of a vessel casualty.
It also serves to satisfy annual and triennial compliance as your shoreside Incident Management Team for all federal (USCG) vessel response plans and California state vessel contingency plans.
We will be developing an e-Learning course that covers the IMT TTX carried out in Texas to allow each vessel plan holder to participate in the seminar and satisfy their IMT TTX compliance for 2024.
The 2024 e-Learning
course will be available by June and must be completed by
at least one representative for each plan holder before December 31, 2024. A circular will be issued when registration is
available.
Our team will also be holding a series of in-person Response and Regulatory
Update Seminars in the following locations throughout the year, and we will
send out a circular announcing registration when the dates have been finalized.
