Witt O’Brien’s provides public and private sector clients with the expertise and proven solutions to assist them in managing incidents and disasters in an efficient, effective, and compliant manner. Witt O'Brien's team of responders have managed or provided technical support for some of the largest environmental emergencies and natural disasters since the 1970’s and bring real “hands on” experience and knowledge when responding. The most recent examples are the Deepwater Horizon and Cosco Busan oil spills, Hurricane’s Katrina, Sandy, Isaac and the USDA APHIS Avian Influenza outbreak in the upper Midwest.
We have worked with government and industrial response teams at the local, state, federal, and international levels and are well-versed proponents of National Incident Management System (NIMS) Incident Command System (ICS) for response. Witt O’Brien’s leverages extensive knowledge of FEMA and other federal agencies and state emergency management programs to make sure your response operations are properly documented. This provides accountability, maximizes your ability to obtain reimbursement for potentially eligible costs, and facilitates the transition from response operations to recovery implementation.
Our Incident Management responders are supported by our Emergency Operations Center (EOC) that is located in Slidell, LA. Our EOC is the first call for many of our clients and our Trained Responders are able to offer immediate assistance. Our incident response and management services also include EOC staffing support and augmentation.
